Coal Bed Methane
Alkane Energy has a licence position in the UK that includes Coal Bed Methane (CBM) licences. These licences have been assessed by our independent geology experts, IMC Geophysics, who have estimated best case gas-in-place resources of 388BCF. The high-end estimate resources figures are estimated at 580BCF
CBM exploitation requires substantial development expenditure and our strategy is to team up with a partner with CBM expertise and with the ability to fund the development budget.
